Hall

Two facilities within the Reserve, the Hall and the Log Cabin,

can be hired for special occasions or events.

This large community hall is a popular venue for weddings, corporate or milestone functions and memorial services.

The hall is available to hire from 9am to 1am for functions.

The Hall is equipped with:

 Trestle tables and chairs for large groups

 Ducted heating

 Toilets, including a disabled toilet

 Disabled ramped entrance from a disabled parking space

A kitchen and servery contains:

 Refrigerator

 Electric urns

 Oven and stove top

 Pie Warmer

 Microwave

Crockery, cutlery and napery is not provided.

Log Cabin

The Log Cabin is a 100 year old one room cabin that sits in a picturesque setting within the children’s playground.

It is a popular venue for children’s parties and family events.

The Log Cabin contains:

 A large stone fireplace which is very popular during the colder months. This is the only heating in the cabin and wood supplies must be provided by the hirer.

 15 chairs, 3 trestle tables and some built in benches

 A cold water sink

 A small urn

 1 power outlet

Public toilets are a very short walk from the Cabin.

The Log Cabin is available for hire between 9am and 6pm (7 pm during daylight savings).

Oval - Reserve

The Ferny Creek Recreation Reserve offers more than just scenic beauty.

It boasts a variety of amenities, including a well-equipped children's playground, a cricket pitch and oval, and abundant parking facilities.

Additionally, visitors can enjoy the convenience of a spacious car park, private areas, private toilets, and even an accessible toilet.

The reserve warmly welcomes the public from 0700, every day of the week the vehicle entry is locked at sunset.
